I am responsible for a wide range of tasks including the management of the NZ & AU GIS infrastructure and the GIS services & applications which are hosted within. With the nature of work in our team we’re always tackling new challenges so a big part of what we do is solve problems which has been one of most important competencies I have learned. Being part of such a fantastic team that get to work on a wide range of interesting projects makes me proud to work at CoreLogic.

Recruitment Process

 

At CoreLogic, it’s important we take the necessary steps to ensure we find the right fit for our roles and that we have given you the best opportunity to establish whether or not we are the right fit for you. Therefore, our selection process has a number of stages. 

So you’ve applied for a role – what’s next?

Initial Screening

All of our roles go through an initial screening process. Due to the high number of applications received, unfortunately, we are only able to go back to shortlisted candidates that we have identified closely match the role criteria. 

Phone-screening

Once shortlisted, you will receive a call from one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists. This brief conversation is used to gauge suitability; experience, salary expectations, availability and motivations. This is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions about the role and the firm. 

Interviews

Once you have been selected to interview for the role you’ve applied for, your Talent Acquisition Partner will organise for you to meet face to face (or via video-conference) with the hiring manager. Generally speaking, our interviews are conducted with 2 -3 relevant stakeholders and often require more than one interview for successful applicants.

Testing (if applicable)

A few of our roles may require you to complete either a cultural fit assessment or technical, self-administered online test. A brief discussion will occur prior to this assessment being administered. 

Offer

Once we proceed to offer, we conduct thorough reference and background checks on all potential employees. Once complete and following a call from one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists to discuss, your employment contract will be administered and sent via DocuSign.

It is important for us that you hear either way, so we endeavour to contact all unsuccessful applicants to explain the outcome. If you are made unsuccessful from one role, it doesn’t mean that you won’t be a great fit elsewhere in our business!
